🚶‍♂️ Walking routes from the campsite

From the campsite you can access several coastal and forest trails ideal for walking without transportation. One of the most recommended routes is the Camí de Ronda, a path that follows the profile of the coast and connects various beaches and coves in the area. It is an easy, accessible and very visual route, where every bend in the path offers a new panoramic view of the sea.

🌳 El Bosc de la Marquesa: untouched nature by the sea

A few minutes walk from Platja Llarga is one of the most appreciated natural areas of the Tarragona coast: the Bosc de la Marquesa. It is a well-preserved Mediterranean forest, with an area of more than 40 hectares, consisting of pine forests, low scrub and cliffs that descend to small coves with crystal clear waters.

This forest, protected for its ecological value, is ideal for walks amidst natural shade and spectacular views. Its unpaved trails allow you to disconnect in silence and enjoy the biodiversity of the environment: seabirds, butterflies, stone pines and rocky areas where you can look out over the sea.

Within the Bosc de la Marquesa are hidden beaches such as Cala Fonda (Waikiki) or Cala Roca Plana, which can only be accessed on foot. This limited access has allowed them to maintain their wild and quiet character. They are ideal spaces for those seeking a more intimate contact with the sea and nature, away from the most crowded areas.

🌊 Beyond the beach

In addition to the forest, the area offers multiple possibilities to experience the environment:

  • Walking at sunrise along the shore of Platja Llarga
  • Cycle along inland roads or coastal stretches of coastline
  • Discovering small coves hidden among the cliffs
  • Snorkeling in crystal clear waters with sandy and rocky bottoms
  • Birdwatching and enjoying the calm at any time of the day

🌅 Nature at your own pace

Whether you prefer a quiet walk under the pine trees or a longer excursion with panoramic views, the surroundings of Camping Platja Llarga offers you the perfect combination of sea and forest, movement and relaxation. An opportunity to rediscover the Costa Dorada from its most authentic side: the one that still smells of salt, resin and dry land underfoot.
